“It is great to start the year with an exciting full-season extension. I thank LEXUS RACING for keeping their trust in me at the end of a positive 2015 season we concluded with a spectacular win. We have been fighting for the title during the last two years and we hope that the third attempt will be the good one! There will be many variables this year, but we worked hard during the winter and I think we will have our say in the 2016 competition. The first test will be important in order to merge with the new technical staff, but I am sure we have all what it takes to succeed”.
